A free text widget helps you organize your dashboards better and allows you to add information in text form to a dashboard. In this article, we explain how to add one to your dashboards.
To add a ‘free text widget’ to a dashboard, you first:
- Navigate to the dashboard overview;
- Click on the dashboard where you want to add a free text widget;
- Click on the ‘pencil icon’ right next to the dashboard name to edit the dashboard or to add new widgets;
- Type ‘free text’ in the search bar to find the widget;
- Drag and drop the text widget in the preferred dashboard group;
- Click the gear-wheel icon on the upper right corner of the text widget;
- Edit the title and content of your text widget;
- Click ‘Apply’ and ‘Save’.
Note: free text widgets allow you to add free text or information to your dashboard. For example, you can add targets for your team to see, or give an explanation for the dashboard.
