This article explains how to add tags to a standard product list to create custom view filters and widget dimensions.
Product tags can be used to create custom view filters and widget dimensions. They make it easier to slice and dice data in dashboards and widgets.
Instructions
- Navigate to Product lists.
- Click on the standard product list for which you want to create a new tag.
- Click on the '+' icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Click on '+ Field'.
- Select 'Tag'
- Name your new tag.
Please note that the name of a product tag will appear in the view filters as a custom filter. You could, for instance, add the following tags: Colour, Size, Lifecycle Stage, Series, and Category.
- Click Save.
The tag is now created, but we still need to add field values.
